About Us

Our courses encompass all aspects of performing arts giving each student an excellent grounding in Dance, Singing, Acting and developing individuality and performance skills. Our Fully Funded BTEC in Dance Or Performing Arts Course for 16-19 year olds is a two-year full-time course which sits at level 3 on the national framework and is equivalent to 3 A Levels. The course is suitable for students between the ages of 16-19 and is government funded with 16 hours of guided learning per week. There is an option to ‘top up’ that is also available for students who wish to partake in adding more training hours to their timetable and participate in additional skill classes (to upgrade to the top-up course, an additional fee is applied.) The course also attracts extra UCAS points through the Teacher Training, LAMDA, Trinity College & ISTD examinations. The training is based around practical sessions in dance, singing and acting alongside performances where all three disciplines are brought together. Students will also study the historical, stylistic and professional aspects of the industry.

The ACPA Mission Statement

Adagio College of Performing Arts (ACPA) provide a supportive environment that fosters not only artistic growth but also intellectual and personal development.  ACPA aim to train people from every walk of life, culture, socioeconomic background. It’s about creating opportunity, creating access and investing in the arts for the future. Students will be equipped for a wide variety of careers such as business, law, or teaching that require collaborative effort, public poise, imagination and a broad background in the liberal arts. We believe that talent and potential should be the only entry requirements, however, financial barriers could prevent many individuals from fulfilling their dreams in dance training. That’s why we have created the  ACPA Charitable Fund which is already supporting many students through their training, so that no one is left behind.
